Tweet & Update Facebook Status in Hindi or any Indian Language

Have you always been wondering how you could post something exciting on the Social Networking websites which could go viral? Then here is a better idea – Start Tweeting and updating your Facebook status in a regional language which can amaze all your friends and followers. In this article we will be showing you how you could be able to type easily in Hindi Language.

In order to perform this job we would be using the Hindi Transliteration bookmarklet which would allow you to directly type in Hindi language. This trick is going to work on multiple browsers ie Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer etc


In order to get started you need to visit the Google Transliteration service here where in at the end you would find the bookmarklet option, if not you can directly visit these options here.
Currently you can update your Twitter status and Facebook updates in the following languages – Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya & Urdu.

Click on the link which says – [Type in Hindi] and drag and drop the bookmarklet on your browsers toolbar or bookmarks bar. Next once you click on this link, the selected language bookmarklet would be enabled and in all the compose boxes it would get enabled on the browser. From now on not just facebook or twitter you can easily type in any Indian regional languages on sites like Gmail, Orkut etc.
