Samsung Galaxy S3 handset has begun hitting stores in Dubai

With a week to go until the official Samsung Galaxy S3 UK release date, new reports have suggested the Android 4.0 handset has prematurely been made available for purchase in Dubai.

Whilst currently unconfirmed, recent reports have suggested a number of Dubai based Samsung Galaxy S3 fans have been allowed to snap up the eagerly awaited device earlier than planned with retailers beginning to shift early arrivals of the S2 follow-on stock.

Although UK consumers will have to wait until next Wednesday, May 30th, to snap up their own Samsung Galaxy S3 handset, a number of tech outlets have suggested the quad-core device has been hitting stores in the Emirate nation early with consumers claiming they acquired the device for around the £430 mark.

Heading to market as a true powerhouse of the smartphone scene, the Samsung Galaxy S3 boasts an expansive 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with an eye-popping 1280 x 720p resolution. Elsewhere a 1.4GHz quad-core processor features alongside 1GB of RAM and the option of 16, 32 and 64GB storage capacities.

Lining up at a mere 8.6mm thick and just 133g in weight, the Samsung Galaxy S3 touts an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with 1080p video recording capabilities. A second, 1.9-megapixel snapper features on the front of the device.
